Tree work is dangerous. Factors such as falling from height, chainsaws, overhead power lines, falling trees and branches all contribute to making it one of the most dangerous of all industry sectors. The recent boom in the use of aerial work platforms in tree work should improve safety however the Goldlift 14.70 machine makes it even safer.
Research has shown that using a platform can be three times quicker than traditional methods. As well as being faster, it is less tiring and workers require more easily acquired skills to complete the same task efficiently and safely.
When working at height, the operators will be impressed by the smooth and non jerky nature of the hydraulic controls. The large slew ring means any bounce experienced is absorbed almost immediately, providing a constantly stable working platform.
Some of the features making it perfect for tree surgery include;
- Widening system of the tracks assures a higher stability tracking over rough ground.
- Won’t sink into the lawn; on the contrary it can get stabilised where necessary without causing lawn damage.
- A horizontal working range of up to 7meters and vertical height of up to 14.7 meters.
